Willington.

Myself and Sarah took a walk around here this morning, on the fishing lake we saw the single Common Sandpiper. On the main water there were good numbers of Wigeon, a pair of Oystercatcher flew over and there were 15+ Sand martins. A pair of Shelduck on the pit to the left as you walk from the stile and around the surrounding bushes and trees at least 6 Chiffchaff.

Roxton.

After no luck with grey wagtails at Gt.Barford weir on Sunday 9th morning i moved onto Roxton weir where i found a pair showing well for some time before flying off high out of sight. Also in fields near the end of Ford lane a pair of oystercatchers were seen feeding.
