A fine male crossbill

The Lodge







The Meadow Hide was very active today with 4 Crossbills drinking from the pond, as well as 1 Siskin, 1 Brambling, Great Spotted Woodpecker and an excellent Sparrowhawk.

Blunham Wigeon




I thought this looked a bit odd so wondered if it was a hybrid with a Gadwall - very dark 'Gadwall grey' for a normal Wigeon.
