First week of May at Bev's (DWE).

A selection of images taken over the 1st,2nd,5th of May at Bev's (DWE). The Spoonbill stole the limelight, but the Lesser Whitethroat was a pleasing find adding it to the site list. 3 Oyc's still present (3rd bird on and off) and also up to 3 Common Sandpipers at a time. More Swifts now passing over.

Oystercatcher nesting?

This old industrial site near Wyboston had what appeared to be a nesting Oystercatcher. In most recent years, Oycs try and nest on the islands at Wyboston Lakes. Last year they nested on the gravel carpark of the watersports centre. This was predated but maybe this site will succeed! Note the other bird in the photo - also nesting here perhaps?
