Hybrid Falcon

This large, pale, stocky falcon would have cleared out the Shorelark/bunting field at Warden/Galley Hill if it hadn't already been done by the Sparrowhawk that preceeded it.
A similar bird was seen at Draycote Water in Feb 2009 - labelled as a Gyr/Saker x Peregrine (see here).
Any thoughts?

Shore Lark, Galley Hill, 23rd October 2010. A superb find by Darin Stanley, made even sweeter by finding two Lapland Buntings amongst the same flocks!

Two ripples and a tew

Euphoric celebrations after a Lapland Bunting flew over The Pinnacle this morning. Unfortunately we didn't see it, and Matt didn't hear it.
