I popped into Bedfords Priory CP late morning to see if I could finally catch up with the RND as previous visits had not proved fruitful. I am glad to say I managed to catch up with it today on the smaller of the two finger lakes :-)

Gargany Priory CP 13-04-2017

I managed to catch up with the Gargany Drake on the Finger Lakes at Priory CP this lunchtime which was a bit of a treat:-)

Red Crested Pochard Priory CP

I went looking for the Drake Garganey at Priory CP on Sunday afternoon but unfortunately dipped out, but came across a pair of Red Crested Pochard on the finger lakes which was a nice consolation.

Bufflehead

Just a few of today's Bufflehead at Priory CP, 29th October 2015.  It was metal ringed on its right leg. This hasn't stopped previous claims getting accepted - the Roadford Reservoir, Devon bird of 1998-1999 was also ringed.

 A few more shots when I took my Dad to see it on Friday 8th Feb. Actively displaying to the females and chasing away the male Pochards.
