Bully

Bullfinches have been absent this year from their normal winter haunts in Willington so I was especially pleased to see this guy in breeding habitat yesterday evening.  Shame I see so few when as a young lad they were common breeding birds.

Early start at Bison Hill Whipsnade this morning flushed out a few Ouzels, all in all 3 males and 1 female with Mistle Thrushes and Fieldfare. lovely to see them its a shame its so brief down this neck of the woods.

Dunstable Sewage Works 07-04-2013,

A lovely bright crisp Sunday morning at the sewage works today, not too much about other than the usual suspects, warblers haven't arrived yet. On view today for me Whooper Swan, Teal, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Canada Goose, Green Sandpiper, Common Snipe, Little Egret, Coot, Moorehen, Water Rail, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Wood Pigeon, Song Thrush, Green Woodpecker, Wren, Goldcrest, Buzzard, Black-headed Gulls etc to name a few. Got a few interesting shots from the trip.
