Radwell Bittern
About time we had one! Worthwhile waiting for dusk at the small reed-fringed pool at Radwell tonight. This shot was taken by holding my iphone up to the telescope and hoping for the best!

Bittern
One of the five Bitterns currently at Stewartby Lake today. Several were seen taking sprats put out specifically for them by Neil Wright and Roy Nye. 24th December 2010

Bittern
Bittern, Stewartby Lake, 17th January 2010. Found by Neil Wright just a few yards from the busy main track around the lake, this bird seemed oblivious to our presence.

More Bittern
3+ Bittern remain at Brogborough Lake. This one sneaked past the camera while a group of us watched another one on the ice, on the opposite bank from the gull-watch point. Booming fantastic :-)
