Central Luton Parakeets

Parakeets checking out potential nest hole near the island in Luton's Wardown Park on Sunday. Not my first record in the vicinity of the park, but all previous have been single birds. A third individual was watching on.

Ring-necked Parakeet

This Ring-necked Parakeet was around Beeston during late December 2011 in to January 2012.  Unfortunately it disappeared when the cold weather hit mid-Jan.  Thanks to Max Hill for passing on this photo of the bird taken by Graham Stock.

Ring-necked Parakeet

A wander around Linslade, after a report for the christmas bird hunt, produced this bird this morning. Also a male Blackcap.
