Pink-foot number two

This bird was with the greylags by Harrold Bridge yesterday. The long-staying injured bird was still by the small lake in the park.

Pink-footed Goose


This bird flew in to Grovebury this morning, it settled in with a flock of c310 Canada Geese in a field to the west of the sand pit.(1/01/2011)

Pink-footed Goose




Four Pink-footed Geese settled in the stubble field east of Dunstable STW this afternoon. They appeared to be a family group of two adult and two juveniles. (13/10/10)

Pink-footed Goose



Not the best of shots! This bird (presumably this same one) has been wintering in the Ivel/Ouse valley for a few years now - Broom/Blunham/Roxton mainly. Never really sure if it is too wild but it must be a bit suspect as there is only the one - although it only seems to be around in the winter.
