Scaups at Cuckoo Bridge

Hybrid Tufted x Pochard

Two drake Scaup

Slavonian Grebe
Lots of birds on Brogborough Lake at the moment, including over 1220 Tufted Ducks, and almost 300 Pochards.  Amongst the throng are a Slavonian Grebe, two drake Scaup, and at least two hybrid Tufted x Pochards.

A quick stop at Brogborough at mid-day today saw an increase in the Scaup to four, Goldeneye to eleven and the female RC Pochard still present. 2/11/09
