First week of May at Bev's (DWE).

A selection of images taken over the 1st,2nd,5th of May at Bev's (DWE). The Spoonbill stole the limelight, but the Lesser Whitethroat was a pleasing find adding it to the site list. 3 Oyc's still present (3rd bird on and off) and also up to 3 Common Sandpipers at a time. More Swifts now passing over.

Oyc's first to return at Bev's. 18th Feb 2013.

The Shoveler put on a good show all morning, and the first returning waders were a pair of Oystercatchers that took flight North from the north lake at Bev's.

October gatherings at Bev's. 30th Oct 2012.

Gathering west of the A1 opposite Bev's (DWE) thousands of Starlings displayed before moving across to Biggleswade common.
Around the main lake at Bev's I encountered the largest gathering of Common Snipe I've seen. 50+ got up from the lakeside vegetation, they circled around the site before returning to their hideouts.
