Radwell White-fronts
I scanned the flock for about 45 mins before they flew in from the Viaduct pit area. Extreme distance photography but you can see four of five of the six White-fronted Geese in this shot. The sixth was separate from this group and indeed flew in first from the back pits. The five here flew around for a few minutes before landing.

Radwell White-fronts
Establishing a new low in photography standards - so it was dark and I've lost my state-of-the-art Plumb Centre adapter for my camera... Pink-feet in the background!

Female Pintail Radwell A6 Pit
Three White-fronts flying away over a very flooded Radwell A6 pit. Took a while to re-find them on the pit under the viaduct, but very distant.

White-fronted Geese at Roxton
Five of 27 wonderful White-fronted Geese at Roxton. These birds had previously been at Blunham on the 5th Feb but moved to Roxton where they stayed until the 27th at least. There was another group of 19 at Southill Lake. Photo by Richard Bashford
