This Whinchat was part of a chat flock on Biggleswade Common, 15th September 2011.  The flock consisted of two Whinchat and a colour-ringed male Stonechat.  I'm currently trying to find out where the Stonechat was ringed...

Captured with caterpillar on the fence posts to NW of Deacon Hill trig point Pegsdon. Sunday 14th Sept (digiscope).

Sharpenhoe Clappers

Whilst crossing the top field to get to the wryneck, this whinchat posed for a couple of shots before moving on. Shame the wryneck wasnt as obliging.
