Pink-footed Goose


This bird flew in to Grovebury this morning, it settled in with a flock of c310 Canada Geese in a field to the west of the sand pit.(1/01/2011)

This juv. Common Tern has spent the past week at Grovebury, it is one of the forty ringed at Wilstone Reservoir this year.

Med. Gull


Another juvenile at Grovebury, a different bird though, the one on the 1/08/09 had no rings but this one had a silver ring on its left leg and a red ring on its right leg. 11/08/09
