Red-necked Pharalope Broom 20-05-2015

A quick trip over to Gypsy Lane Broom tonight to see if I could get some shots of the Red Necked Pharalope, fortunately it was still on site but unfortunately it was at quite a distance, but I got some half reasonable record shots. It was being really hassled and forced to move on on many occasions by a very territorial Redshank so I wouldn't be surprised if it left site shortly. On the way home I popped into the Sandy Smith NR and got some lovely views of the resident Little Owl, so all in all a good trip out this evening.
