Greenshank
A brief visit tonight 7.00 - 7.30 pm to the Dunstable Sewage Works to see if the earlier reported Greenshank was still on the scrape. Lucky for me it was right in front of the hide, which was really useful since it was pretty gloomy and drizzling with rain.

Tawny Owl
Tawny Owl, Linslade, 5th August 2015. This bird has been regularly returning to Rory Morrisey's garden recently and he managed to get this excellent shot one night.

Water Rail
Popped into Dunstable Sewage Works for a couple of hours today and was delighted to find the Water Rails had returned to site. I saw two together today with the possibility of another one which was calling from the opposite reed bed. They put on quite a show for me and enclose couple of snaps.
