Stockgrove Country Park
Stockgove CP and the attached Rushmere Park in Heath and Reach near Leighton Buzzard is a great place for a woodland walk and a browse around. The site has many species but does really well for Nuthatch, Jay, Goldcrest, Long-tailed Tit, Mandarine, Green Woodie, Coal Tit, Grey Heron, Treecreeper, Great Tit, Blue Tit, jackdaw, Raven, Common Crow, Buzzard and if your lucky Crossbill. Unfortunately over the past couple of years the Marsh Tits seemed to have disappeared :-(

Great Grey Shrike Brogborough Hill
I popped into Brogborough Hill at lunchtime to see if I could catch up with the GGS. I am pleased to say it was being very showy at the top end of the hedgerow Brogborough Hill end and I got quite a few distant pictures as enclosed all heavy crops :-)

Central Luton Parakeets
Parakeets checking out potential nest hole near the island in Luton's Wardown Park on Sunday. Not my first record in the vicinity of the park, but all previous have been single birds. A third individual was watching on.
