The Snipe was one of two that briefly visited the pond in front of the cafe in the afternoon, the Green Sandpiper was on the same pond about 8.30am - I did move in between... ;-) The Goldfinches were near the Pillinge. Photos by Martin Green.

Mediterranean Gull

I managed to get a little closer today to the colour ringed juvenile from Hungary, first photographed on 11/08/09. Grovebury, 15th Aug 2009

Med. Gull

Another juvenile at Grovebury, a different bird though, the one on the 1/08/09 had no rings but this one had a silver ring on its left leg and a red ring on its right leg. 11/08/09
