Stone Curlew

Got out at 7.30 to check a few sites before work, Wyboston, Roxton, Great Barford and Waterloo Thorns. Nothing at all of interest so I was feeling pretty fed up. Thought I'd check the aerodrome in case any of the wintering Tree Sparrows were lingering. Scanning through a few finches on the plough and this thing was standing there! It didn't move more than five feet all day from 8.45 to 19.50 when I left it. County tick and a welcome catch up with the big boys...
